Welcome to the Jay Weiss Center for Social Medicine and Health Equity Website. Our Center was founded on behalf of the vision and the beliefs of the late Jay Weiss. Jay's vision was to create a program that developed and supported medical students and residents alike to practice medicine in underserved and impoverished areas. We have since expanded our center's efforts to include research and service based projects.
