The Jay Weiss Grand Rounds Series on Social Medicine and Health Equity began in October, 2006. Topics focus on important questions, issues and case studies related to social medicine and global health equity. Speakers are drawn from multiple disciplines, including medicine, public health, public policy, economics, anthropology, philanthropy and governmenxt. They include those from the local community as well as national and international leaders in the field. Continuing medical education credits are available to attendees as well as speakers. The grand rounds are available via live and archived webcasts.
